Mary Pettyjohn, Founder & President
Mary is a licensed real estate agent at Sereno in California, specializing in Silicon Valley. Sereno is the largest, locally owned and operated, independent real estate company in Northern California with 16 offices and 530 agents. Previously she worked as the Director of Marketing for one of Keller Williams top 30 teams nationally, serving as one of the beta testers for Keller Williams new technology rollout. She founded the Real Estate Technology Association (RETECH) in response to the difficulty in connecting companies and individuals across all verticals of the marketplace. She is also an investor in multi-family housing.
Nathan Pettyjohn, Co-Founder and Advisory Board Member
Nathan is the Commercial AR/VR Lead at Lenovo, managing a team and leading the global go-to-market strategy for Lenovo’s ThinkReality enterprise augmented reality and virtual reality hardware and software solutions. Lenovo is a Fortune Global 500 company with 50,000+ employees and $43B in global sales serving customers in 180 + markets.
Nathan is the Co-Founder and Advisory Board Member of the Real Estate Technology Association, and is the Founder & President of the VR/AR Association (VRARA) - a global community of companies in virtual reality and augmented reality consisting of over 70 global chapters, 30+ industry professionals, and 20K + industry professionals. Nathan previously worked at Quantum Capture, a leader in the field of virtual digital humans powered by AI, and led a venture-backed start-up as Founder & CEO that provided mobile software services to Fortune 1000 retailers and worked on computer vision-based AR navigation experiences with the team at Google running their VPS (visual positioning system) Tango solution.
Nathan speaks frequently on the subjects of augmented reality, virtual reality, mobile platforms and commerce and has been featured on CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Bloomberg and TechCrunch.
Kris Kolo, Global Managing Director
Kris is the Global Managing Director for RETECH. Kris is also the Global Executive Director of the VR/AR Association, which has grown to over 4000 companies and 55K professionals in 5 years. Prior, Kris was an executive at Verizon and Toys R Us. In addition, Kris was an Advisor, Board Member, to FlyBy, a tech startup acquired by Apple. As an entrepreneur, Kris was the Co-Founder of Spime Inc, a Silicon Valley startup acquired by Trimble. Kris was granted seven patents and holds graduate degrees from MIT. Kris has been involved in real estate on the US west coast, US east coast, and abroad.
Mark Wenzowski, Miami Chapter Leader
Mark Wenzowski is a Client Partner for Virtalis where he is currently responsible for Strategy and Business Development of Extended Reality applications for enterprise organizations. His proficiency in technology and culminationation of experience and skills within the Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality space has led him to this pivotal role.
Prior to joining Virtalis, Mark established a track record of 15+ years experience successfully managing, maintaining, and growing client relationships within the AR/VR/XR, digital/mobile, and Healthcare IT sectors. In his early career, Mark spent 5 years as a residential mortgage broker before launching his own company in mobile technology .
As the chapter leader of RETECH Miami, Mark uses his leadership skills and knowledge to foster collaboration between innovative companies in the emerging technology and real estate community, helping to assist in accelerating growth, fostering research and education, and connecting members and organizations.
With Miami and the surrounding South Florida area being an international hotspot for both real estate and emerging technology, RETECH Miami is growing at a rapid pace and is positioning itself as the leading resource for all things related to real estate and technology.
